You can see why I came to this conclusion from the photo above. I’ll admit, sometimes I’ll get home and before exiting the car connect to my WiFi and check up on Oppo or other internet related things.
Remember when I told y’all about the neighbor’s Car getting repoed? (
!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
)
Well they eventually moved out and I got fresh neighbors a couple months ago. The other car was a Nissan Versa (maybe). I do remember I was going to complain about it here.
So after being on my phone for about 5 minuets new neighbor pulls up in his grand am, I haven’t meet him yet because. So, tomorrow is recycling bin pick up and we put them to the curb tonight, and he was getting stuff shuffled and into the bin when I turned around and seen and took first photo. I went into the house and got a little better photo.
So, I just don’t know if this 70 chevelle is an el Camino, wagon, or coupe. I doubt it’s a SS. The garages here may not be long enough for a wagon or el Camino, but maybe because that grill is right by the garage door track.
If you are new to my neighborhood, hi.

So, how do you plan to find out what beer he likes before wandering over?

Not sure but I think that’s a cowl induction hood, so it may well be an SS.

I like this plan. He’s already photographing the garage. It’s almost the same anyway.

Just bring your favorite and see if he takes the bait

Dilemma: why do you do if he turns out to be a wine cooler guy?

That’s okay. More beer for me.

Bud light would probably be ok, but I’d offer something more like blue moon which may be a step up.
I may wait until spring, it’s annoying to me when I’m only outside to get stuff done when someone starts talking to me.
It wasn’t also about 29°F when I went from Car to inside.

Then you find out that you won’t be making a new friend today.

This is the correct answer.

Fair enough. Cold beer isn’t as good in cold weather.
Bud light meets only the minimum qualifications for being beer. Go with the upgrade if you want to be invited back.

Here is the thing, he is defiantly a laborer of some sort (high viz). All the guys I work with drink cheap beer. I’m about one of 5-10 that like beer with flavor. The other 100 or so BL is ok.
When someone gets excited about BL or Busch or Milwaukee’s best, I know they are going for quantity over quality.
No shame in that. But I won’t keep pace with an Arrogant Bastard or Dragons Milk if they are drinking beer like water.

A ‘70 Chevelle/Malibu/Wagon/Elky is cool no matter what!

And I’m actually pretty sure that is an SS cowl induction hood on it, too

It looks like it, although odds are it’s a repop hood on a non-SS car. Not that this would make it uncool. I love the ‘70 in all forms.

Well then, Old Milwaukee it is. When in Rome, drink whatever gets you a ride in Cesar’s chariot.

True - and an SS hood on a wagon would be crazy cool

The reason I say it’s not an SS is if it was you’d be sure it’d say so on the grille.
But a cowl hood is like a few hundred dollars.

Definitely. Heck, I’d be happy with an SS hood on a 4-door sedan.

True - looks like that’s a bow tie in the center instead of the SS logo and any parts you could want for an SS are easy to find, but that’s a cool car any way you slice it
